Meet the Team
As President of Midas Capital, LLC, Eric has grown Midas Capital from three to fifteen employees with more than $500,000,000 of assets under management. Eric is responsible for leading the vision and mission of Midas Capital and works closely with the rest of the leadership team to execute long-term strategic initiatives. His efforts focus on internal and external relationships, debt and equity issuances, deal making, and general management of Midas Capital and the various entities affiliated with Midas Capital and its operations.
Prior to joining Midas, Eric spent almost nine years in public accounting at a top 25 regional firm with a focus on real estate, manufacturing, and insurance. Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Louis University, and his MBA from Olin Business School at Washington
University in St. Louis.
Jared joins Midas Capital with over a decade of commercial real estate experience in multiple asset classes. His work in sales, brand development, operational management, real estate investing, and asset management have resulted in more than $900MM in acquisitions and development. From his experience identifying, underwriting, and leading the asset management of acquisitions and developments throughout the investment lifecycle, he brings a wholistic approach to drive value for each property and fund.
Similarly, Jared brings operational management expertise to the team and works to ensure the investment group optimizes workflow and communication to increase investment opportunities for Midas Capital. Jared serves as Vice President of the Board for Cecilia’s Advice, a non-profit in Indianapolis serving the National Phelan-McDermid Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis. Jared is a husband, a dad to three. This Denver native loves all things skiing, mountain biking, fishing, and hunting.
Jason is dedicated to the asset management of a portfolio of operating properties and also contributes to the development and acquisition process. He brings nearly a decade of commercial real estate analytics, finance and leadership experience to Midas Capital and will spearhead operational initiatives to enhance the reporting and analytics platform. Jason earned his BS in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and his MBA from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. This husband and dad to two girls enjoys spending time with family, playing and watching sports, traveling and exploring the local food scene.
Andrew is a key point of contact and liaison with investors and banking partners. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Andrew likes watching Mizzou and any ST. Louis sports teams. He enjoys golfing and trying out new local restaurants.
Ron has an extensive commercial banking background with a large St Louis regional bank. For the past 49 years served in various leadership roles in both the commercial and retail bank divisions. In his role as a Senior Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager, he developed and managed a $300mm loan portfolio including responsibilities for underwriting, legal and all aspects of portfolio management, compliance standards and new business development. Ron is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate Banking program.
Andy oversees the accounting department and financial reporting. He attended Washington University in St. Louis earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, and the University of Missouri in St. Louis earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting. He brings more than a decade of public accounting firm experience and an expertise in capital and development. Andy is a husband and dad. He enjoys golf, the Cardinals, and traveling.
Melissa supervises the accounting operations of Midas, including financial reporting, maintenance of accounting records, and internal controls over financial reporting. Prior to joining Midas, Melissa spent twelve years in public accounting, with a focus on audit and consulting work for real estate, non-profit, and public sector clients. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, and her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Missouri. In her free time, Melissa enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
Lucas focuses on researching and gathering financial data, creating a strong support system for analysts making it possible for goal achievement. He attended Webster University in St. Louis where he earned a BA in Economics and a BA in Management. Lucas enjoys music, fitness, and competitive chess.
Kayla supports both the capital markets and investments teams. She brings strong internship experiences in underwriting, operations, valuation, development, and trade enhance design. She studied Economics at Princeton University where she played on the women’s ice hockey team.
